I've never seen this... another KINO title to add to my collection! Gene Hackman is pretty much terrific in anything....

have not seen this since it was a new release rental, and i must have been 8 or 9 years old. i remember thinking it was really good, looking forward to revisiting this one...

I've always loved this movie. It's a good movie and good story. I do wish it was more accurate but most of the details were still classified at the time it was made. I wouldn't mind a remake now that the full details of the event are available. I would still enjoy this version as more of a "Loosely based on" story.

Recently read a review for Land of Bad and the reviewer made references to Bat 21. Thought heck, not seen this film in ages so went online (UK) to buy and film was never released on Blu Ray here only DVD. Further searching and I found Amazon Germany had a release so ordered it. Given my recent purchases in this similar scenario, I’ll bank on it getting a 4K release soon! (I hope)
