After just getting a Benq 1070 projector, I wanted to test out blurays, anamorphic dvds, letterboxed dvds and VCDs. All I can say is wow! The projected VCD or letterboxed dvd is the only way to watch these! I feel like Im watching them in an old art-house movie theater being projected so large rather than fussling endlessly around with settings on a tv. Very impressed! It's nice to see the letterboxed dvds and VCDs get life again rather than gaining dust on the shelf. I can imagine VHS and laserdisc look most impressive as projected as well.
