Cool - I assume this will be the uncut version, unlike the pre-trimmed auklets release, but what is the likely risk of forced subtitles?

Thanks for the info. I have pre-ordered this. Just hope there are no forced sub titles or writing on the cover!

EDIT: Fnac's exclusive 4K + 3D Steelbook now includes a CD soundtrack instead of a Bonus disc. This means that all
bonus features that exist will be included on the standard blu-ray included in both Amazon France and Fnac's 4K + 3D Steelbooks.
The artwork is, for now, still different for the two editions:

[Show spoiler]Okay so to clarify the situation here for people:

Firstly, Amazon France and Fnac.com are both listing Warner France's simple 4K + 3D + Blu-ray (3-disc) Steelbook for Aquaman.
  • It will all be region free.
  • There will not be forced subtitles.
  • Because the film was also called Aquaman in France and German, their steelbooks will almost certainly not have French text on the front or bind (best to confirm artwork before dispatch though).
NB. The previous Amazon product page NO LONGER EXISTS, and the initial Blu-ray.com listing for it is now INACTIVE and NO LONGER CORRECT.
There is now a new Amazon product page, and a new Blu-ray.com listing, which IS CORRECT:

If you added the initial Blu-ray.com database listing to your Collection on the site, you should remove it and add the new listing in its place.
If you pre-ordered from the previous Amazon product page, not to worry, they merged the two, so your order still exists for the correct, upcoming product (you will see when you log in to your account).
Secondly, Fnac.com is now ALSO listing a Fnac Exclusive edition: 4K + 3D + Blu-ray + Bonus Blu-ray (4-disc) Steelbook. This is currently the same price as the aforementioned Steelbook!
Here's the Blu-ray.com listing for it.

I believe this is the most superior edition available anywhere (not including ultra expensive 'premium' ones that may come later) and remember, Fnac.com remove VAT upon checkout.

Hope that helps people out.
I for one am ecstatic that such a 4-disc edition exists for a good price

Does the FNAC come with digital? If yes, can it be redeemed in the US?

Every other French edition is announced with digital included. The new Fnac 4-disc listing does not yet mention it on their page; that kind of information is very often lacking from their listings until a few weeks before release. In my experience no Fnac exclusive has ever lacked a digital option if one existed in other French editions. So there is no reason to believe that the Fnac exclusive will deliberately exclude the digital option that is included in all other editions. From the moment Warner France has decided to offer a digital option with the French physical release (they have in this case), you can expect it to be included in every edition.

The digital code, based on Warner France's previous 4K/3D Steelbooks of Justice League and Batman v Superman, will have an Ultraviolet option.
I'm 99% sure the code will be in HD only.

I'm 99% sure you won't be able to redeem it in the USA by normal means. If you have an Ultraviolet account in the US (linked with VUDU for example), you could use an international Virtual Private Network (VPN) like TunnelBear (free up to 500MB a month) to pretend to be in France while redeeming the code online. If you manage to add the title to your Ultraviolet collection through such a French VPN connection, it should then be in your Ultraviolet collection accessible from the US. For example, in my Ultraviolet collection I have an array of US, French and UK codes redeemed, that are all accessible via the same UK app I use to access MyUV (Flixster UK). Once a title is in your UV collection, you're good (in rare cases you may need to access it via a French VPN each time you want to stream/download it).

I have a VUDU account which actually has a US address to it. I normally redeem all my digital via vudu.

I also have a UV account. I'm confused as to how by changing my IP to a French one, it will let me redeem since the account is US. What am i missing here?

Granted it’s not simple. I’ll try to clarify it briefly here but otherwise there are other threads that have covered it already (search ‘VPN UltraViolet’ etc), Best not to deviate too much in this thread:
[Show spoiler]Your Vudu account is US-only. But, assuming that you have linked your Vudu account to your UltraViolet account (you should), things you add to Vudu in the US will be added to your UV account. Here’s the thing: you can access your one UltraViolet account/collection via specific services around the world (it’s effectively international); in the US, Vudu has become the only service from which you can access UltraViolet (as far as I know... maybe there’s also the Sony Pictures service?) and in the UK, Flixster UK has become the only service from which you can access UV. So for example, if you were to create a Flixster UK account and redeem UK codes through it while on a UK VPN, those titles would be added to your UV collection and therefore would become accessible from your Vudu US account; with the occasional title (rarely), you would maybe have to access it via your Flixster UK account on UK VPN (again this is rare).
So basically, go onto a VPN in the required country. Go onto the website as instructed on the digital code sheet, and if necessary create an account with the required service in the country and link it to your Ultraviolet account (which is in effect international). Redeem the code. You should then see it appear in your UV collection, and it is then accessible through Vudu as normal. I have heard that this can then further link to Movies Anywhere but I don’t know about that.
This is of course provided that the title exists digitally in the different countries in the first place (Hollywood films you redeem in Europe obviously will exist in the US digitally).
