So this is the 'non-continuity' release of the year, apparently? I don't really understand the logic of making this one an Elseworlds and not Hush.

I think they can pull of hush within the New 52 style. I thought they have done death of superman pretty well so far.

I'm just not a fan of the choppy, stuttery animation.

So now that the digital release for Reign of the Supermen is here, when is someone going to upload a sneak peek at Justice League vs the Fatal Five?

Im hoping its the wonder women bloodlines movie in the justice league war universe. Batman has 3 movies and has been in them all but constantine. Batman doesnt need a 4th solo movie yet espically since Wonder woman doesn't have any.

My question is: If Batman: Hush is being released in April and we're getting this movie first, what month are we getting it exactly?

WB always does this with their PR for animated. It is the same cycle every time.
1. Title Release/PR Images
2. Special on previous Bluray/digital (always gets leaked to youtube)
3. Releases trailer for new movie within a month of previous movie release always without a trailer (typically on IGN)
4. Releases date like a few days to a week later (on social media)
5. Steelbook art release and preorders begin

been the same for like past 5-6 releases

I've never understood why they "hide" the release day for like another week. Why not just put out the trailer with the date when you are ready.

I did find it strange that they did not state that there will be a 4K UHD release this time in trailer but there is statement for it in the IGN article here:

So is this part of the DCAU? I mean, it has the same voice cast, same designs but I'm pretty sure they had the fatal 5 in a JLU episode where Supergirl, Green Lantern and Green Arrow get transported to their future and Supergirl falls in love with Brainiac kid & stays behind.

I've got to say I am surprised about the release date given the placeholder for Batman: Hush was for the same day. Regardless, looking forward to this one

I am guessing that is going to be their SDCC title that they reveal April and premiere at a panel there.

The trailer is really good. I loved that DC are going back to the old style animation for this movie.

Also the cover art is a real stunner. It's absolutely beautiful.

But the Justice League discover an ally from another time in the peculiar Star Boy – brimming with volatile power, could he be the key to thwarting the Fatal Five? An epic battle against ultimate evil awaits!

The Justice League vs. The Fatal Five all-star cast is led by Elyes Gabel (Scorpion, Game of Thrones) as Thomas Kallor/Star Boy and Diane Guerrero (Orange is the New Black, Jane the Virgin, DC Universe’s upcoming Doom Patrol) as Jessica Cruz/Green Lantern. Producer Sam Liu (Reign of the Supermen, Batman: Gotham by Gaslight) also directs Justice League vs. The Fatal Five from a script by Eric Carrasco (Supergirl, Justice League Action) and Jim Krieg (Batman: Gotham by Gaslight) & Alan Burnett (Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay). The film is based on a story by Carrasco. Burnett and Krieg are also co-producers. Amy McKenna (The Death of Superman) is producer. Co-Executive Producers are Benjamin Melniker and Michael Uslan. Executive Producers are Sam Register and Bruce Timm (Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, Batman: The Animated Series).

“Justice League vs. The Fatal Five is an important addition to the DC Universe Movies, spotlighting two unlikely young heroes with real-world issues facing off against a daunting quintet of futuristic villains,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Vice President, Family & Animation Marketing. “We’re also are proud to have Kevin Conroy, Susan Eisenberg and George Newbern reprising their seminal roles as DC’s Trinity in the Justice League & Justice League Unlimited animated series, and believe the fans will be equally pleased with their return to these characters.”
