Default Best Terrence Malick Film

There's a poll for this already, but it's 9 years old. Time for a new one. Feel free to rank, rate, and discuss his films as well.

Badlands is a masterpiece. The rest are watching paint dry coma inducing bores.

Tree of Life for me. Saw it in theaters with a friend who hated it, but I was so dazzled by it! My friend and I saw Black Swan again to watch the trailer for Tree of Life again!

I have a somewhat marginal preference for The New World (theatrical cut), possibly the best film about Native Americans I've ever seen, and one of the most splendid endings of its decade.

I think all Malick films are equally great, with the exception of Days of Heaven (which I simply don't get) and Song to Song (the only time I felt his style and themes became stale).

Only three I can watch without falling asleep from boredom are Badlands, Days of Heaven and parts of The Thin Red Line.

And I love hundreds of slow films from Bela Tarr, Louis Malle, Robert Bresson, Luchino Visconti, Vittorio De Sica and dozens of other directors.

With all the voice over narration in Malick's movies does this man even know how to shoot dialogue?

Thin Red Line is my top one. Honestly tho love each of his films, the cinematography in them is gorgeous.
