Including the movies where Iron Man is not the title character.
Parameters: Rank them according to the quality of Iron Man's appearances and writing, not the quality of the overall movie. Me: 1- The Avengers 2- Avengers: Endgame 3- Iron Man 2 4- Iron Man 5- Captain America: Civil War 6- Avengers: Infinity War 7- Avengers: Age of Ultron 8- Iron Man 3 9- Spider-Man: Homecoming Contrary to popular belief, I'm also an MCU estimator. I just hate and despise the MCU Thor and his terrible movies, as well as the cinematic adaptation they concocted for some minor characters: in primis, Falcon and Hawkeye. I'm a huge Iron Man fan (I also collect the action figures from the movies, mark by mark LOL) and I always loved "IRON MAN 2". To me it's a brilliant movie featuring a wonderful script, Downey Jr even more confortable as Tony Stark, terrific action scenes and the best solo superhero aerial battle ever put on a movie. The story-arc about the "new element" is just mindblowing and meaningful. Yes, I still think that "Iron Man 3" did not deserve such a huge commercial success, it was truly overblown, but I must say that it's a very good movie anyway. I didn't like the constant and mishandled DECONSTRUCTIONISM of the "Iron Man" mythology, quite frankly. To me, the real THIRD chapter of the Iron Man saga will always be "The Avengers" (2012) which, still today, it's the best superhero team movie ever put on-screen; however, I always felt that Iron Man was the pivotal figure and the absolute lead on that. |

Now that I think about it, "Deadpool 2" marks the 10th time of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. |

1. Iron Man
2. Avengers: Endgame 3. Avengers: Infinity War 4. Avengers: Age of Ultron 5. The Avengers 6. Captain America: Civil War 7. Spider-Man: Homecoming 8. Iron Man 3 9. Iron Man 2 10. The Incredible Hulk (just for kicks) Tony Stark is my favorite MCU character, and while some have found him exhausting, I'm glad we got as much of him as we did. His quick wit is exactly my style of humor, and his character arc (reactor) in the 22-film Infinity War saga (I guess 23 if you want to include Far From Home as an epilogue), is arguably the most complex of any character's in the MCU. The casting of everyone in this franchise has been spot on, but the marriage of Robert Downey Jr. with Tony Stark is something extraordinary. |
