Can anyone confirm if this trick works for this player for Region B Blu-Rays? Like Arrow ones?

No. Only Pannys and derivatives thereof do this.

Well shoot. Any way to make PS4 Pro or the Sony player multiregion?

Ps4, not a chance. You might be able to get a hardware mod for a standalone player but it'd be so expensive that you'd be better off buying a cheapy BD player from the UK to use for MR purposes.
