Seems odd that there doesn't seem to be a 4K release at all for this (not even just a regular packaged release). Disney has been somewhat on a roll lately with releasing their classic animated films in 4K. Seems odd that they wouldn't do the same with Cinderella.

Well Peter Pan and Lady and the Tramp got steelbooks last year but did not get 4k releases. Lion king also got a regular blu-ray steelbook release first but a 4k steelbook soon followed so maybe, hopefully, they will eventually release Cinderella in 4k and those other two, too.

Once again I preffer the artwork on the Target exclusive.

It's a shame, cause Purple is my favorite color too, but it just doesn't suit this film. The steelbook would have looked much better if it was blue.

Beautiful steel and digibook but I'm not paying $30 for something that's not 4K and I have already bought on DVD and BD.

It’s the same as Canada’s 4K steel. Or did you mean the live action Cinderella? That one is pretty ugly.

Wish we would have gotten the 4K one also. Anyone do group buys for Canadian exclusives?

The Best Buy Canada SteelBook is NOT 4K. It's regular Blu-ray+DVD+Digital.

Just to clarify: Both Best Buy Canada and Best Buy U.S. are carrying the animated 1950 Blu-ray SteelBook. There isn't a 4K release for the animated film.

Both Best Buy Canada and Best Buy U.S. are carrying the 4K SteelBook for the live action film.
