I'm collecting steelbooks in my Tim Burton collection, so I have to get this...
Pre-order for now. Will watch the film tomorrow. Hoping I like it, but I'm feeling skeptical.

There's also a 3D blu-ray listed, but that isn't getting a steelbook. I think that's a first for Zavvi (not doing a 3D steelbook for a new Disney title).

If this is the art, I prefer it to Best Buy’s.

I just hope the title will be on the spine. I can't stand portrait spines that Disney does at times.

Thanks for the heads-up on the 3D. Amazon UK also has it, so I pre-ordered from them. A little cheaper and no sales tax (which Zavvi now collects.)

The Zavvi Steel should have the title at least. They've been very consistent on that front.

No 3D steelbook no sale...won’t get Ralph 2 until there is a 3D steel. No point IMO
Shame

Well I prefer there being a 4K steelbook due to having a 4K set-up :P

Besides, it looks like Disney is slowly starting to phase out 3D worldwide now or at least not advertise it as much (the link on Zavvi's homepage to pre-order Dumbo doesn't even include the 3D blu-ray). It'll be interesting to see what happens in regards to the home releases of Avengers: Endgame, Aladdin, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Toy Story 4, The Lion King, Artemis Fowl, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Frozen 2 and Star Wars IX, in regards to seeing if they all get 4K releases in the UK or if any get 3D releases.

There’s a listing on zoom for the 3D Blu-ray, but not a steelbook. I’ll just buy that along with the 4k steelbook and put the 3D disc in the steelbook and sell off the standard Blu-ray (I am willing to spend a bit more to get all 3 formats).

They can keep 3D. Just keep the 4k rolling please.

Thanks for pointing this out. I had (and still have) the portrait spine 4K steel preordered from Fnac.com for €28, and opted for the much more expensive Zavvi steel for the sole reason of the bind having the title. Zavvi must have silently changed the artwork again, having already announced the "final artwork" at the end of May.
I'm already getting the 3D slipcase on top of this so have no hesitation in demanding a full refund/return in this case. The artwork they announced as final in late May had no 'temporary artwork' disclaimers either.

# I think I've seen about everything, now I've seen that steel' portrait spine.

That's really annoying for people who ordered wanting the title spine, oh dear.

I've been on the fence about that steelbook anyway because I prefer to go for the 3D steelbooks when available generally (well, or a combo ideally, thanks Alita!), but I'm holding off now, I'll see if there's a price drop before buying.
