For those wanting to sign up for the new Disney+ streaming service, D23 has an exclusive discount for 1 week only (8/26/19-9/2/19). For this 1 week, if you commit to 3 years, you can save $23 per year off the current yearly price of $69.99. Thus, you'd be paying $46.99 per year for the 1st three years of service. Of course, this requires a 3 year commitment up front at a cost of $140.97 out the gate. After that, you'd renew annually at whatever the current price is, unless you choose to cancel. No partial refunds will be offered, so if you sign up, you are stuck with the 3 years. Looks like a good deal if you're planning on using the service anyway, if you don't mind paying for the 3 years up front, of course. You do have to be a member of D23 for this offer, but this does apply to all membership tiers, so you can join the general member tier that is free to join. You must join by 9/1 for the offer to apply, but it does say it can take up to 36 hours for the offer to be available to you, so the sooner you join the better.

You have to scroll down further. It should say General Membership near the bottom. I had trouble finding it as well because I figured it would save Free.

Signing up for the free "D23" membership gets you access to the deal on Disney+.

You need to signup for D23 in order for them to send you the code for the Disney+ discount.

Well, in this case, it is getting you access to the discount on the Disney+ streaming service. In general, you get access to the D23 website, e-mails from D23, a few other general discounts (more discounts are available to paid memberships), and access to different D23 events.

I did, but I was already a D23 member. The e-mail is actually what alerted me to the offer, leading me to post it's details here for others to take advantage of it.
