I like but will wait and see if Amazon.fr does the 4K/3D steelbook option like most big WB/DC releases

I don't think that's a Zavvi decision. I'd guess it's a larger decision made by the studios to either push consumers towards 4K or is in relation to previous disc sales. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and Aquaman also only got 4K steelbooks in the UK so I'm leaning towards it being related to disc sales (since the first Fantastic Beasts and previous DC films had 3D steelbooks). The LEGO Movie 2 got a 3D steelbook, so it might be a case where WB noticed their live-action titles sell better on 4K but their animated titles sell better on 3D.

The fact we only got a 4K steelbook for Dumbo suggests the same thing for Disney in regards to sales.

3D has all but been dead in the states for well over a year now.. It's the trend finally catching up to europe, no big surprise it would be coming sooner rather then later.

That’s a bingo...unfortunately.
I’m liking this release. I’m guessing the US might get as a Target exclusive.

DC Live Action steels tend to be at Best Buy

Only Animated at Target.

Target does get the Digibooks though.

I preordered this cuz I know Best Buy will pull out with more garbage drawn artwork. Hopefully this art remains. So excited to see this tonight.

If it's like the rest of the DC steels, it'll probably be similar to the others and not the theatrical poster.

There is a 3D release but not a 3D steelbook. At least in the UK.

It's catch 22.

Not enough 3d units sold. So it's not popular.

But they don't release enough 3d units. So the small number then sells out.
