No official announcement has been made yet, but they appear to be teasing either a new game or a remaster.

HNNNNG. The original is one of my all-time favourites, so a remake would be a day one purchase.

I've said it before, but this current trend of remaking classic 90s games is absolutely delicious and I hope it never ends. Now somebody needs to hurry up and remake Tomb Raider II.

It was the showcase for SONY's Dual Analog and a pretty great game to boot.

I'd be down for an uprezzed collection or complete remake of the first game.

Was this truly a great franchise or was this one of those overly romanticized, longed for IP's that die hards make out to be greater than it actually was? (I never played it).

The first was great. Quality suffered after. It's a lot more then a DA tech demo. It's a very well done 3-d platformer with search aspects thrown in that has a lot of that wacky Japanese charm you don't see much of anymore. In my eyes it's what Knack tries so desperately to be but fails at.

I never played the sequels, but the original game is terrific.

NICE! I loved this series, and would LOVE to have something on the PS4!
Now we need a Katamari Damacy re-master/remake/sequel on the PS4!

Tokyo Game Show is Sept 11, hoping we may get an announcement then since the anniversary is pretty Japan-centric (free PS theme for Japan PSN accounts for example).
