K-19: The Widowmaker (Harrison Ford/Liam Neeson) - Blu-ray Forum

I hope Paramount announces director Kathryn Bigelow's ("Point Break", "The Hurt Locker") "K-19: The Widowmaker" for Blu-ray really soon. To me, this movie was a hell of a lot better than "Crimson Tide", and "K-19" ranked right up there with "The Hunt for Red October"! And the scenes with Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson were pure cinematic gold! Ford and Neeson on-screen together was an incredible sight to see! Paramount, please announce "K-19: The Widowmaker" ASAP!!

Wow.. this was a horrible movie. I like Harrison Ford, but his accent in this movie is just the worst. Crimson Tide beats this one hands down.

Hah. Just watched this film. I thought it was decent but definitely not Ford's best. Funny thing is, I had no idea I've actually been in that real Soviet submarine, K-77, when it was in Helsinki in 1994. It's a small world, eh.

The soundtrack by Klaus Badlet is unbearable. I'm surprised that Harrison Ford would allow himself to be affiliated with such rubbish!!

Didn't anyone producing this film ever see The Hunt for Red October??

K-19 is a real stinker with an unbearable vomit-worthy soundtrack. A real step backwards. Liam tries, but there's no saving this boat!

Perfectly decent submarine movie... Which was released on Blu-ray years ago.

There wasn't a thread for this movie in the Movies section, and I didn't feel the movie was worth starting a thread for. So yeah, I made my felling about the film known here. ..

Great movie, both Ford and Neeson are excellent, in light of the recent Chernobyl series it's another of those Russian cover up stories
