Who's buying these that Sony is persisting?!! They'll press and re-press new editions of movies already on the format like JERRY MAGUIRE and friggin' XXX, but they dump everything else on these garbage BD-Rs.

Would love some of these on real Blu-rays, but I'm not supporting BD-Rs from the Sony Choice Collection at their crazy high prices. If these were bargain priced I'd consider it, but not at $27 each.

I would have gotten The Net, Neighbors and now this if they were pressed discs. Hopefully Sony wakes up and realizes consumers don't want this crap.

No doubt someone will come along in this thread and say "Day 1."

The price point is the real stinger. Catalogue releases on proper pressed BDs are available for $5-$10, but MOD BD-Rs are as expensive as 4K new releases? Nope, Sony aren't getting my money for that.

BD-R **** that. This movie is a great buddy comedy, one of my favorite of all time. It deserves a proper release. (Along with another buddy classic - Money Talks)

$27 for BD-R + probably lackluster encode? Bring us a pressing and an acceptable encode, it'd be worth billions of dollars.

No it won't that's the reason they're BD-Rs!

It is an acceptable encode. Just because you're petty doesn't make it unacceptable.

Hopefully they start releasing those Choice Collection discs. I want Marie Antoinette. It deserves a Criterion or special edition but I’ll take a Mill Creek disc over a BD-R.
