Don't know if I'll upgrade, the old Blu-Ray is rather impressive still considering it came out 12 years ago.

Excited for the new restoration / transfer, worried about Kino’s bad QA practices though.

It would need edited again for a 4K restoration wouldn't it? Del Toro would have to be involved unless he took extensive notes for the last release.

If it's a double feature disc with Urban Harvest sure, can't imagine a standalone disc release.

How about From Dusk till Dawn, Phantoms, The Faculty and eXistenZ.
They were distributed by them.
I believe The Faculty and Phantoms were also produced by them.

Yeah, it's probably going to happen in a boxset/collection if it happens at all. Although, it'll be the first time CotC2 has had an official disc release in the US since DVD!

Also it'd be nice to have the original Dimension logo restored to the opening that was very poorly plastered on the BD and HD streaming releases

Nice announcement. If they didn't give us the Lifeforce extended cut in 4k I'm not expecting the extended cut of Mimic in 4k. Hope that's doesn't turn out to be the case.
