Saw this in the theater last weekend. Incredible film. Would prefer a 4K UHD BD-release, but I'd still take a regular BD of this one if all else failed.

I won't go as far as to say best of the year (not that I'd say it's not either), but it was #1 for me at keeping me engaged. It was such nonstop, interesting, hilarious action, especially for an SNL fan. I didn't want it to end, and I can't say that about many movies I've seen recently.

One of my favorites as well! Sad to not see it receive a 4K release.

Just saw this and thought it was pretty damn great too. It's a shame no 4K but it IS Sony and if there were any reason to double dip, they'd do it so I'm not ruling it out, but then again, this film was not promoted well at all.

EDIT: Also, the price is pretty disgusting for a standard BLU-RAY and digital only.

Yeah, shame no 4K on this one - looked interesting.
Looks like I'll be giving this a pass.
No qualms buying Blu-ray, but my priority these days is 4k.
I spend enough on that format - spending money on overpriced Blu-rays that may or may not get a 4k one day is not something I'm going to do.

It’s release day and Sony is still at it with the overpricing. Amazon has it for 26 dollars right now only because of a limited time deal

Yeah, I do want this movie but I also know I won't be rewatching it any time soon so I can wait on a sale price

DD has had it for that price for a while, and I think Amazon is just matching them. I'm guessing it's limited to the time DD sells it for that price.

I ended up getting it for about $21 from Target in a B2G1. Not a great price, but I can settle for it. I loved this film.

Watched this last night. Really good flick. It was like Uncut Gems meets television production. The cast was excellent if even some of the bigger names stole some of the light. Gabriel LaBelle was fantastic as Michaels and I was shocked to look him up and see the guy is only 22 years old! He has a long career ahead of him after this. The confrontation between Chase and Berle was absolutely hilarious and a highlight for me. Everyone knowing full well what an a**h**e Chevy is, I was surprised they didn't take it further for drama's sake but was pleasantly surprised they kept it realistic instead of outlandish to be "faithful" despite some of the other exaggerated bits scattered throughout. I have no idea how this cost 25-30 million dollars though. It felt like it could have been done for almost a third of that and it would have been at least a bit more successful. Regardless it's a very well made piece of film shining a highlight on something that has been a pop culture staple for 50 years.

I watched this yesterday and LOVED it. I really wish Sony had done a 4K disc. Maybe they will right after I buy the Blu-ray.
