While you’re at it, 2029 is closer than 2020!

Anyway, I couldn’t be more excited by this announcement.

This reminds me that I need to watch the first one again. That was such a good movie. I’m expecting the sequel to release on Thanksgiving like the first.

This doesn't seem like it needed a sequel, but ok.

This doesn't need a sequel but Disney needs money.

Don't want sequels?

Make sure you support the originals.

Wife & I love Coco. We will either enjoy whatever they've come up with here or we won't.
Everything else is for other people to sift through.

Coco is a fantastic movie, one of their best.

But a sequel? I’m highly skeptical. How many of these recent sequels are genuine ideas and how many are Iger 2.0 trying to overly course correct from the hole they dug for themselves?

The only animated movies that were released during the 2010s from both Disney and Pixar that aren't getting any sequels in some form are Brave and The Good Dinosaur.

With how they tried to integrate Merida into a "Disney princess" I'm surprised they didn't try to do anything more with the Brave world.

I liked The Good Dinosaur, but it had an end. Spot found a new family, Arlo made it home. Done and dusted... now that it's stopping them from doing Coco.

Coco is fantastic, but I see no reason for a sequel. I’d rather see a sequel to Brave.
