Generally, I don't believe they will. The Herbie movies on BD actually showed up on the Hamilton Book website, but I think that is pretty rare, and likely a case of overstock. eBay is always a possibility, although the prices would be largely inflated, I'd imagine. Your best bet would likely be to see if a DMC member would be willing to purchase them for you. I'm going to have to join eventually, as there are more than a few that I want. I just have to figure out when I can afford the expense.

I don’t know either. I’m from Québec, Canada. And the Disney Movie Club is not available in the Québec Province. And i really want this movie on Blu-Ray...

How odd. Not only does the Blu noticeably crop the sides, but it actually opens the image up vertically a tiny sliver over the digital copy. The DVD also has an aspect ratio of 1.66:1, but I don't have a copy on hand to see if it matches the Blu or if it offers a vertically expanded version of the iTunes image. If it matches the Blu, that means they just dumped the old DVD master in HD rather than using what I'm assuming is a fresher one from iTunes.
It's not a huge deal to me since, frankly, Piglet's Big Movie is my least favorite of the (legitimate) Pooh films, and I do think the Blu (even if it's an old master) looked great to me when I watched it and not as compressed as the screencaps show. But it's certainly a curious scenario, kind of like a lighter version of Fox and the Hound's mess where every home video version was framed differently, and no one could figure out what the entire negative image looked like. |

Disney has never cared that much when pushing home video releases for their less popular movies. They probably grabbed whatever master they had laying around and possibly didn't realize iTunes had a different one available. These studios will often make multiple transfers for different outlets, from syndication to home video.

![]() My first thought was "any film that wasn't just a compilation of other Pooh related media", but then I remembered that The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was a compilation of the original 3 shorts. (and there's no way that doesn't count) |

Besides, the plan all along was to make a full-length Pooh feature between The Sword in the Stone and The Jungle Book before Walt had second thoughts over the story and characters being too fluffy for a feature-length running time. Many Adventures is based off what we were supposed to get before Walt sectioned it off into shorts (at least the first 2/3 of it; I've yet to find out if Tigger, Too was ever meant to be the final third of the original 60s film or if they went in a different direction for the third short). |

![]() Itunes ![]() DVD ![]() Itunes ![]() They made the blu-ray out of a new master (DVD screenshots above vs Itunes); the itunes is based on an enhanced DVD transfer. I think that should be a given; because Itunes does put "HD" versions of movies real quick before a BR is available which most likely is a barebones remastering or just an enhanced DVD quality (with little tinckering for HD purposes); the funny part of it all that the DVD has the most details retained while Itunes and BR has less details on the sides. This movie was coloured digitally and it almost feels like Disney was trying to artificially give it a cel "look" to "line up" with the others.
