Finally saw this a few weeks ago and liked it a lot: the entire film feels like a hazy drunken nightmare! I'm hoping 88 Films pick it up in the UK so that I don't have to sell my soul to obtain the Code Red release.

Blind bought this and it was pretty cool except that I wished it were longer or that at least a sequel had been made. Good times, though!

Just ordered this. I had the DVD for years and sold it in anticipation of this Blu-ray and then completely forgot it came out! Too. Many. Blu-rays.

(Kidding... there's no such thing as too many Blu-rays )

Can't wait to see it in hi-def!

I placed an order for this since I noticed Ronin was down to the last 200+ copies. How does this compare to movies around the era like SHE, Spacehunter, Krull, etc.? I'm not expecting the best film, but I'm hopeful that there are some fun moments in the film to warrant a rewatch.

Never watched this. How is the action compared to something like say Conan the Barbarian?

If you are looking for straight action you are sure to be disappointed. It's merely competent and on a far lower budget, so there are no large set pieces or intricate choreography as in Conan. It's fantasy-horror rather than fantasy-action.

This one's more about the Fulci atmosphere and weirdness. It's like Conan with 10% of the budget and 100% more coke-snorting werewolf men. Outside of being in the same general genre ballpark I wouldn't even attempt to compare them -- the movies are just too different.

Yeah, but does Conan have girls getting ripped in half by Wolfmen? That's a no. Conquest wins.

I absolutely agree. In a contest based on pure insanity/entertainment value Conquest's my pick, as well.

I watched this on Tubi a few months ago. Finally got to see a movie that was luridly described in the letters section of GoreZone magazine many years ago.

It's quite amusing, but I'm not compelled to buy it.

Yep. This is definitely one of those "What the hell did I just watch???" kind of flicks.
