Hello,
I've been away from the forum for a while, but I'm looking for some feedback for speaker placement for my upcoming build. The room I'm putting it in, will be approx. 14' x 16', with my screen/tv (blue in picture) going on a 12' wall that has a hallway beside it and a closet behind it. I'll just be doing a couch facing the screen and a projector overhead. With this layout, I think it would be best to do just side surrounds and skip the surround backs since my couch will be against the wall in the back (open to feedback) For the Atmos speakers, I have access to the attic, so its easy to add whatever is best for the room. In the attached picture is about where I'm thinking of adding the 4 Atmos speakers (yellow). Does this look like it makes sense? Will I get a big benefit of going with 4 vs 2 height speakers for my layout? |
