Default Looking to buy a new tv, need help

Hi all. I've been toying with upgrading from my 30" CRT HDTV to an LCD. I had my eye on the Samsung 46" 1080p screens (http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LNT466...0492792&sr=8-1) but I have also been looking at some others. 46" is definitely the size I want, so that part is easy.

However, I got a best buy deal (grrr) for no interest for 3 years. I was going to buy a TV this summer, but I can expedite the purchase with this deal and pay it off in August.

So, the TV I want is usually ~$1500 on amazon, but not at best buy. However, best buy has some nice screens in the price range (and even less). Problem is, I don't know anything about Westinghouse other than that I see loads of them at Best Buy and Target. Are they decent? Keep in mind, I am not a videophile/audiophile. I do enjoy HD and see a huge benefit, but I do not need bleeding edge/top of the line. So long as it has a good picture and is not a piece of garbage, all is well.

So with that in mind, I have 3 TVs I am prepared to buy if they are the right thing for me:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1172881381461
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1172882141819

I will be using this with my DirecTV HD tuner, a PS3 (for games and Blu-Ray), a Nintendo Wii, and an up-convert DVD player. I use HDMI for PS3 and the DVD player, and component for the Wii and DirecTV. I run this all through a Sony Receiver.

Any ideas/suggestions/advice?

Thanks all!

You really need to go to Best Buy and take a look at the sets you are interested in. Personally, I would go with the Sony. I've seen this and the picture is amazing. The Westinghouse is hit or miss as far as quality goes, and most people I know that bought one (against my advice) returned it and bought a different set. The Philips I haven't seen at all so I'm not sure about that one. You might also want to consider a Sharp Aquos if BB carries them (not sure if they do or not).

Yeah, I will definitely check out the store. I was just perusing their website, most of the things say they aren't available at my store but I was there last week and I know that they are (at least, they have them on display--I suppose they may be out of stock).

I was looking at the Aquos line around Christmas, they looked great.

Also, after reading some reviews I'm pretty sure I don't want to take a chance on the Westinghouse. I'm not petty enough to avoid a "generic" brand just out of principle, but I do usually find that more recognized name brand items are better quality. This appears to be the case here.
