Default Aladdin (2019)

Wow, the blu-ray is one fine looking disc form the few bits I peeked at just now. Looks very crisp. I'm sure some of the rich turquoise and such will be lost to the sRGB gamut (which the UHD should deliver nicely, only had like 2 seconds to look at that version so can't say much yet), but looking good.

I'm laughing at the lack of responses and comments on this title.

I think a lot of the discussion on this is happening in the 4K thread....

and the steelbook thread...
and the target exclusive thread...
and the original "movies" discussion thread...
and the 3D Import thread.

Yeah, for some reason all the talk about it seems to be in the 4k section. I was shocked that I had to make my own post for the blu-ray though, it does seem crazy odd that not one person posted about it in the blu-ray forum proper before. Great looking even just with the blu-ray version.

Very popular title. Made over a billion dollars.
Local Target sold out of all 4k and blu-ray copies in a day (although they didn't get crazy amounts of stock). At my local stores the 2019 is selling better than the new 1992 release by quite a good bit (granted many who want the 1992 likely alrady have it and not all bother to upgrade 2k caps animation stuff to UHD, etc.)

I ordered the 3D from Amazon UK so it's going to be a while before I can watch the disc until then I have the digital to tide me over, it's an enjoyable film and look forward to watching it in 3D.
