Last time I checked, Ridley Scott never worked on the "director's cut" and the final cut is the actual real director's cut.

Two movies directed by Steven Spielberg:

1. The 1998 final cut of his 1977 sci-fi classic CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND.

2. The director's cut, which is the longer version he wanted to release in theaters (but Universal and Columbia cut it into the shorter version against Spielberg's wishes), of his 1979 WWII comedy 1941.

Blade Runner, Touch of Evil (close enough), Army of Darkness, Nightbreed (close enough), The Wicker Man, and Dark City.

You said favorite director's cut and proceeded to list the final cut, and I corrected you as there's also a Blade Runner: Director's Cut.

Joke went right over your head, mate.

Lord of the Rings, yes.

The Hobbit trilogy? No. Those do not exist to me.

This was for LOTR, and I agree with him 100%.

But the Hobbit extended cuts are better, especially #3.

Probably not my favorite DC of any film out there, but the DC improves vastly on the theatrical release. Almost two completely different experiences.

Anyone wanting to watch this film, make sure it's the DC.

My point was not about being better, but about being the director's cut.
