Ive been binge watching Different Strokes.
Season 6 , Episode 19 "Hooray for Hollywood"

Philip Drummond takes the family to Hollywood, so he can locate Maggie his future wife. They introduce the cute red head kid Sam.
They later all get together and film a cowboy-era story and throw cream-pies at one another. Arnold & Dudley meet KnightRider & K.I.T.T.

IIRC when The Brady Bunch introduced Cousin Oliver, they were in at a studio set filming some cowboy era scene which turned into a pie throwing battle.



Both were introducing a new KID to the ensemble, after the regular kids had grown up.

No but the Independent Woman episode had a Hawaii theme.

Brady Bunch, Jefferson's and Mamas Family come to mind for Hawaii episodes.
