Unhappy What did you do/are doing with your old SD TV?

Most of know the end of Analog TV is coming 2/17/2009. (Judgement Day. ) What did you do with your old TV when you bought HDTV? What are your plans once Analog goes away?

Sure, it makes a great monitor with cable, or even DVD, but the terrestrial days are numbered.

My color Panasonic 13" is almost 20 years old. It worked like a champ all these years and I knew the whole remote by feel. It was replaced in October when my brother suprised me with my 26" Visio LCD. It's still in the house as it now has sentimental value. Besides, that black case has real timeless appeal.

But now on to the question of what will become of all this techno landfill?

Still use, and will continue to use, 2 of the 3 I have left. One in the bedroom, the other downstairs in the workout room. We've got Dish network, so don't need to upgrade anything. They'll still be working the same next year that they do today.

You only need the tuner if you're running rabbit ears or don't have a digital cable box from your cable provider.

I've got a 31 inch with my 2600, Intellivision, Colecovision and NES all tied into it. Just played a few games of The Dreadnaught Factor on the Intellivision last night.

Mine burned up one day when I turned it on. It made a nice crackly-hissy noise and then made an attempt at being an air freshener.

Oddly, it's still in my old entertainment center. We've been meaning to move it out, but it weighs a ton.

Mine is sitting in my "guest room" in my basement, rarely gets used. Probably in a year or so I will end up donating it to charity.
