Angry "Spanish" Releases Category

Why do north Americans in the U. S. lump All Spanish Speaking Countries including an entire Continent (with the exception of one country) into one lumped Category ?
Spain is VERY different from Mexico and the Central ans South American Soanish Soeaking Countries. Typical U.S. ignorance. It is insulting to Spanish Speaking Countries on 4 Continents.
