Wonder if the deleted scenes will be about Santa's backstory. That's a part of the film that felt like it was cut down in the movie

I feel like I missed something when seeing this in the theater, because it just never felt like he was truly Santa Claus in this predicament, for most purposes he may as well have just been a mall Santa. I can't trust people's recency bias anymore, but I definitely want to see this again, will pick up on a future sale for sure.

I've seen 3 times now on Tiktok (I know not a super reliable source) that this is coming to digital on 12/20. That seems too early though.

Saw this in the theatre a couple of nights ago and i'd give it 5.8/10. The central premise is good but the executions was poor and it was tonally uneven.
The stand out scene for me was the Home Alone booby traps.

I'd recommend seeing it on streaming before deciding to buy.
