Wasn't expecting an Ultraviolet code! And a HD one at that!
This one might have to be a pre-order! Really looking forward to seeing this as the first film was excellent. |

So far it seems the French edition (identical German/Italian) and Hong Kong edition are missing the 1 hour making of, and the audio commentary found on the US edition.
The BBFC has classified the commentary, but I can't find a listing for the 1 hour documentary... I already preordered the UK edition, hopefully it will be included... |

Not had time to check it yet but the UK Blu-Ray arrived and contains no mention on the sleeve of the commentary, documentary or the short film. Just all the short extras.

My copy, for review, came today. They really took their time there.
I had problems playing the disk, my player began whirring on start-up, and after a delve into Hiccup's Inventions In Flight, which is a menu-track combo, it seemed to get stuck when trying to go back to the main menu. Anyone else finding these issues? My player, a Samsung 5.1/3D BD combo, is a year younger than the first film, and fully updated, so it seems rather worrying. Also, real shame we miss out on the doc, the short and the commentary, the deleted scenes led to a lot of interest in the chat-track. |

I'm in a right quandry on this one - My little girl loves toothless to death and I love the films too, I have the UK 3D set winging its way to me from amazon, but then I read it is missing a 30min extra short film? I can live without the missing commentary as I'll never get time and my girl couldn't care less! But an extra short film will be a great add on.
So I thought I'll go for the US 3D set instead (I have a M/R BD Player) but now I hear the US discs has a really poor soundfield, especially the LFE. I am a big fan of the ol' rumble and would be annoyed at this greatly. Sooo.... Is there a set with a decent sound quality with correct LFE,....AND the extra short film???? I'm probably assuming the actual film in both UK and US sets is similar in its sound design? Has anyone compared the two to see which is best?? aaarrrggghhh!!!!! ![]() |
