HOLY CRAP, my wish came true! at last!

I knew Scream would make this with the new Sony deal, thank you Scream Factory.

Enjoyed this since i saw it in theaters when i was 13 and been one of my fave sci-fi horror films.

YES!! Wow, I haven't seen this since I was in high school. Used to really dig it. I'm sure it doesn't hold up...but that can be fun, too.

They also say that "extras are in progress" so it sounds like Sony are allowing them to create new stuff which is awesome !

Its definitely 90's but still watchable.

My day one Scream Factory orders might be seeing a nice spike this summer. Two days in a row of great announcements. Another I will be picking up right away.

This is such great news! I've always loved Brainscan and hoped it would get a release at some point. The deal with Sony is turning out very well!

I wonder if they will get the music rights issues sorted so they have the Primus song back in that was removed from the DVD

That's a damn cool cover. Not familiar with the movie, so not sure if this is its original image or whatnot.

I will be getting this one for sure probably even preorder weeks ahead to get it two weeks before actually release date.

I saw this once, when it came out on VHS. Completely forgettable.

But then, I actually didn't like Sony's 976-EVIL back in the day. But I picked up the Blu, and enjoyed it. So, if Sony were handling this the same way, putting out a nice disc, with extras and a retro slip, that I could get for $14, I'd likely bite. From Shout, it depends on the price. I'm certainly not going to gamble $20 - $30.
