Default VHS>DVD>Blu-ray>4K>???

Another thread got me thinking of all the movies I've purchased over the years in multiple formats and multiple editions. I'm sure many of us continue to upgrade our favorite movies over the years but are you starting to see diminishing returns or being more selective with your purchases?

I had made note that when I went from VHS to DVD it seemed like a really exciting time to not only being buying movies but upgrading those favorites, then with Blu-ray it was great to get some of those favorites again but I already found myself being a little more selective. Now with a beautiful 4K setup including a 75" TV and 7.2 surround theater I just don't find myself caring much at all for 4K UHD releases. In fact I've only bought 5 as the upgrade just doesn't feel worth it anymore.

I was curious how many of you are going as strong with 4K or even regular ol' Blu-ray as you were back in the VHS/DVD days? I can see myself just rounding out my Blu-ray collection over the next few years and being happy with that as my last format for the foreseeable future.
