Following on from the success of 2015’s Italian Restoration Project project we’re back with part deux! This time the goal is to remaster 2 classic Italian exploitation films in 2K resolution!

HOWEVER this will be a very expensive project so we need YOUR help. Organising a project like this is always a big gamble and this time we want you to join in the gamble…..


Our Plan

Goal 1: We raise £12,500 and the long overlooked early Lucio Fulci classic, BEATRICE CENCI, gets restored and remastered from their original camera negatives in 2K, with English and Italian audio tracks, plus newly created English subtitles.

Goal 2: We raise £25,000 and long overlooked early Lucio Fulci classic, BEATRICE CENCI and the Steamy and sweaty Erotic classic from the brain of Joe D'Amato, ELEVEN DAYS, ELEVEN NIGHTS gets restored and remastered from their original camera negatives in 2K, with English and Italian audio tracks, plus newly created English subtitles.

Goal 3: We raise £30,000 so we can produce fantastic extra features for both films. These will include brand new, in-depth featurettes and new audio commentaries by genre experts. These extras will be produced to the high standards associated with 88 Films extras work.

Goal 4: We Raise £35,000 and your blu-rays will come in a beautifully designed, printed, numbered slipcases. They will also include minimum 40 page booklet with multiple written contributions. These will be limited to 1000 copies only, so first come first serve.

Goal 5: We raise £100,000 so we can remaster a MYSTERY film in 2K for you


WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES

Assuming we can reach goal 2, this is where your money will be spent:

Money Raised, £25,000.

1. 20% VAT = £4166.67 (Boohoo!!!)

2. 5% Indiegogo Fee = £1250.00

3. 3% Payment Gateway Fee = 750

4. BBFC Fees Approx £750 each

That leaves approximately £8,500 each to Scan in 2K to DPX, grade and restore, frame correctly and process and synch audio which should be JUST enough to achieve the desired results which are to produce the highest quality HD masters that are as close as possible to what the directors intended.


PERKS

Ok, this time we're keeping this very simple and totally focused on the films being remastered, so no Slasher Specials, Postcard sets or lurid T-Shirts. Hope you appreciate the purity of it.

PERK 1: £40.

If we hit Goal 1 you will receive and 1 x Blu-ray copy of ELEVEN DAYS, ELEVEN NIGHTS. If we achieve higher goals you will receive: Minimum 1 x Blu-ray copy of BEATRICE CENCI and 1 x Blu-ray copy of ELEVEN DAYS, ELEVEN NIGHTS. These will both feature your name in the credits to say thank you for supporting this release! PLEASE NOTE: These blu rays will be UK BBFC certificated releases.

This will be delivered within 4 to 6 months of this campaign closing and the films will not be on general sale for at least 3 months after then.
