Jessica Michelle Chastain was born March 24, 1977 in Sacramento, California. After appearing in such shows in on offs, in shows such as ER, and Veronica Mars and she was A.D.A. Sigrun Borg in three episodes of the short lived Law and Order Trial by Jury. In 2008 she had the starring role in the movie Jolene. Her next big role was in The Debt starring as "Young Rachel" Take Shelter, with Michael Shannon and Shea Whigham. Her big break came in 2011 when she starred in both Terence Malick's The Tree of Life with Brad Pitt and Sean Penn, later that year would also came The Help. Next she was front and centre for her role as a CIA operative in Zero Dark Thirty, who was one of the members of a team who were instrumental in finding where Osama Bin Laden was hiding. She has continued her strong work in movies such as Christopher Nolan's Interstellar starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Michael Cain.
