Default The quality of the standard Blu-ray storage case needs to be improved

For some reason the black DVD cases that hold the disc are being made with what appears to be stronger plastic when compared to the Blu-ray disc storage cases (or the design of the DVD case is holding up longer). I hardly ever have a broken DVD case I need to replace, but when I buy a new Blu-ray title, the slightest drop of the Blu-ray case to the floor the Blu-ray case gets damaged and one of the plastic clips that holds the case together breaks off. While it is understandable that dropping a Blu-ray case on the floor can break the case. Several times when I have purchased a brand new Blu-ray title, the Blu-ray case sometimes breaks only after a few times of opening and closing the case. The stupid Blu-ray plastic door hinge chips off leaving only one hinge left to close and open the case.

I am getting tired of buying new replacement Blu-ray cases. They need to make the quality of the Blu-ray storage cases better. So far, I have not had a 4K Blu-ray case break (the black ones), so maybe the plastic is better quality on the 4K Blu-ray disc cases. It is just getting frustrating to have Blu-ray cases get broken from just opening and closing them. This does not happen to the DVD cases. Some Blu-ray cases appear to be using a stronger plastic where as the newer cases are a cheaper type of plastic.

While the 4K Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray discs might last over 1,000 years, the storage cases sometimes do not last any longer then a few open and closes.
