This new television show opens in 1963. It's lightweight, but I think it's a good show. It's available for free streaming at this site:
http://beta.abc.go.com/shows/pan-am Plane travel was different then. Men wore suits and women wore dresses. No doubt there are things that they get wrong, but overall I think there are good period recreations in this for a TV program. In terms of the performers, I am so far liking "Colette," played by French Canadian actress Karine Vanasse. Is anyone else watching this? If not, I recommend giving it a try. It is less weighted with the stress and storms often found in Mad Men--which is a show I also like.... |
