Slime is one of my favorite recent anime, its great. It subverts a lot of the cliches.

I'm aware of the isekai genre, but has reincarnation always been a popular setup for it or is that a new trend between this and So I'm a Spider so What?.

Several series use reincarnation for Isekai like Re:Zero and Konosuba.

Season 2 Part 2 will be out in October. So if there is a Season 2 complete set with just Blu-Rays, we are looking at the middle of 2024?

I wish the release schedules were quicker for anime. I wish CR would stop releasing combo sets with DVD.
