hey all, i apologize for cross-posting. couldn't find a generic tv forum.
I last bought a tv over 5 years ago. It is a SAMSUNG 55 INCH UN55JS8500FXZA. It's a 4k/3d tv and it's been very good to me. However, I have moved to a bigger space and am looking for a larger tv for the downstairs/den area. I'm looking for a 65in or 75in. I don't really understand too much in the battle vs LCD/QLED/OLED, but I have put in a ton of overtime the past few weeks and want to spend a good chunk on myself and get a new tv. That Samsung 5 years ago cost me 2000. I'm not really willing to go past that, but not entirely sure I want to spend that much either, unless it is really worth it. I want to be able to stream from my apps, to watch my digital movies, etc, and be able to hook up a playstation as well. Would prefer a user friendly interface. I like the one of my Samsung, so it makes me lean towards that brand a bit, but I don't get what the difference between their QLED and OLED is. Also, I worry about burn-in because so many have mentioned it. some that i'm considering are: Samsung - 75" Class - LED - NU6900 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung...?skuId=6290167 Samsung UN75RU8000FXZA https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung...?skuId=6331776 Samsung - 65" Class - LED - Q70 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR https://www.bestbuy.com/site/reviews...th-hdr/6331762 VIZIO - 75" Class - LED - P Series Quantum Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR https://www.bestbuy.com/site/vizio-7...?skuId=6346172 VIZIO - 65" Class - LED - P Series Quantum Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR https://www.bestbuy.com/site/vizio-6...?skuId=6346168 i dont think i like that you cannot add apps on VIZIO now that i've read that. may be a deal breaker for that brand for me.
