Default Are Philips OLED TV's free from that automatic brightness issue like LG OLED's

Thinking of buying an OLED TV. Was going to buy an LG but after reading how it has this automatic brightness
adjustment issue, no way am I buying an LG. So now Im thinking either a SONY or PHILIPS OLED. Ive read
that the SONY also darkens the screen if a static image is on screen.
So I was wondering, is the PHILIPS free
from this issue?

Must say it seems completely pathetic companies expect consumers to buy these over priced PLASMA TV WANNABE's but
then install a stupid "feature" like automatic brightness adjust".

Bring back PLASMA TV! haha.

Im either going to buy a PHILIPS OLED or if I can find one, a flicker free LG 2019 LCD.

You need to learn why and how Automatic Brightness Limiter or ABL is used before writing it off in ignorance. If you are going to write it off, write it off with knowledge.

Also stuff like QLED has it's own set of issues.

You balance the pros and cons of which is most important to you and buy the best TV for you. If it's all about the brightness and how bright it can go, get a QLED. OLED is all about accurate blacks.

Both the OLEDs and higher end QLEDs are excellent TVs, neither are perfect in every way and it also depends what your viewing habits are and what content you watch.

I'd recommend this site to read up on the TVs you are interested in. https://www.rtings.com/tv

in the 2+ years I have owned my c7 oled I have never experienced abl... I was worried about it in the beginning but after seeing reviews mentioning that it was not as aggressive as previous years and that it can be calibrated around I decided to give it a shot and I have been pleased with it... it isn't a perfect tv but it is a damn good one and since owning it I have barely turned on my old vt60

The Philips OLED is not on the United States website, Philips OLED is only offered in Europe.

LG has a real problem with screen brightness. I had an LG TV one week. my eyes were very tired. I brought the TV back to the store.
