Great news. It will most likely focus on the Mandalorian power struggle. Wonder if Sabine will make an appearance.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Obi-Wan (although I'm NOT liking the idea of having him face Vader prior to A New Hope), but I'm friggin' ALL IN on the Andor series -- especially since Lucas was rumored to have written two episodes of that. Andor sounds primed to be everything I personally ever wanted in a live action Star Wars series. Only hope the score is more Williams-y on that one.

I am growing quite weary of these spin-offs but the easy call is to avoid them if one sees fit. It’s a big universe but that doesn’t mean the endless stories and spin-offs are all interesting. Star Wars will always be about Anakin and Luke with Han Solo and Leia being directly below them so to speak. Palpatine is in there too. All these other characters….. their backstory or fabricated plot lines just don’t resonate. There is such a thing as too much. But, money talks. I get it. I’m into Sabine Wryn as a character but Bo Katan doesn’t seem worthy of a full show. Oh well, whatevs.

I’ll watch bits and pieces of this expanded content. The Mandalorian was decent. ObiWan, as you said is making me nervous due to them screwing up known facts and things that happen in the films but we’ll see. Overall though, the prequels, Rogue One and the originals are Star Wars. The rest is just tacked on stuff.

Star Wars is getting more and more watered down nowadays. Quality over quantity please.

Bo-Katan wasn't that great to me, and I don't think I could watch a series with katee Sackhoff as the lead. I love that there are so many Star Wars series in development, though. Like Steel_Breeze said, it's a big universe and thus so ripe for material to explore. I love The Mandalorian, I'm digging Book of Boba Fett, and I'm looking forward to Obi-Wan, Andor, and even Asohka and Lando. But I would really love a Solo series.

This is probably replacing Rangers of the New Republic. I’m looking forward to this if it happens.

Disney's like Oprah and Star Wars characters are the audience. You get a show! You get a show! You get a show!

Awesome. Katee Sackhoff gets more work and I get more cameos and side stories.

I'm 100% behind this.

Let's green-light the Salacious Crumb spin off now please.

Y'know what I really DO kinda want to see? How the hell did Obi-Wan come to be buddies with Diner-owner Dex?? Now THAT's an unlikely story of friendship that needs to be told.

Agreed!

I would hire an agent and pitch it to Disney.

They might buy it.
