"AV Mode" Quality

With all the talk of calibration, it got me thinking... My tv has built in Audio/Video modes, each with its own preset settings, how good are these?

My Sharp has these settings: Dynamic (Fixed), Dynamic, Standard, Movie, Game, PC, User.

I've used the Sony calibration easter egg for my user setting, but tend to actually use the movie setting for BD playback. Does anyone know or have an idea of if these are fair representations of best settings?
