Docrossi will be pleased, it's another Criterion that's been circumvented. I've got the Criterion anyway, will see how the colour timing on the UHD ends up before buying.

I'm pleased that another good movie is getting released on UHD. As for Criterion being left in the dust yet again, it only serves as a sad reminder of the innovative leader that Criterion used to be and how far they've fallen from the vanguard. If Criterion would get off their butts and make stuff like this, then I would be pleased.

I was waiting for this. Held off on upgrading the inferior 2009 version because I expected Lee's most successful movie to get a UHD at some point. But I didn't expect it until the 35th anniversary. I guess Europe is not as stupid about anniversaries as the United States, if this is true.

Certainly not a title I expected to make its way to the new format, but then again, there are already several titles available that I didn't expect to make their way to the format. Echoing other statements here in hoping for the correct color timing. Also further proof that Criterion is getting Nicolas Caged..
