According to https://www.hdmi.org/spec/hdmi2_1
As we know the bandwidth of HDMI 2.1 is 48Gbps, but under supported resolutions it says: 4K50/60 4K100/120 5K50/60 5K100/120 8K50/60 8K100/120 10K50/60 10K100/120 How is it possible to support 8K/100/120 when even at 4:2:0 chroma subsampling at 8-bit color requires around 64 GBps. What am I missing? |
