This is fantastic news! I was hoping this was going to be one of Fox's own Fox Studio Classics releases back when those were a thing. Thankfully, Kino has come along to take up the slack!

Now if only a company could come along and license out the titles that Warners didn't get to put out under their deal with Paramount.

Didn't Warner and Paramount extend their deal for at least another year?

If so, that might mean such a thing can't be considered until the Warner/Paramount relationship is more clear going forward (i.e. is it terminated, or do they keep extending). It would seem to put Paramount library in somewhat of a state of limbo, or at least the stuff that might already be tied up.

I thought it was over. Well if it's not, I hope we get some news soon on what will be coming out this year. It seemed like last year not much of anything made it out from that deal.

I'm curious what Fox's transfers for these older titles will look like. Hopefully they are doing new 2k scans, though you would think that would be mentioned in the announcement.

It would be nice if Disney started re-releasing the defunct Walt Disney Treasures line again. I'm not sure about the whole line, but if I remember correctly the WDT releaes for Zorro mention that the new masters were done in HD so a blu-ray release should be easy enough.
