We'll see all of the new TVs for 2020 and some samples even beyond the 2020 model year.
Any members, mods or admins going to CES this year? Also, I'm getting ready for my CES panel discussion "The Road Ahead for 8K UHD" Hope to have a nice surprise to announce at CES. ![]() |

Looking forward in another Sony Z model being introduced, but this time with the original BMD (or MiniLED) and without X-wide view.

Robert,
Please ask Panasonic when the blankity-blank they are going to give UB9000 owners the option to turn OFF the ridiculous and utterly stupid automatic shutdown (when on pause) after a measly 20 minutes. I am so sick of it, I am actually considering selling my UB9000 and just go back to the UB900. Mark |

And whatever Panasonic model I had before that (standard Blu-ray) didn't do it either. Nor the Panasonic model before that. Mark |

I think I already answered this question multiple times before. The answer is never. Unless Robert’s Panasonic Japan is different from mine.

We certainly know that Oppo won't be releasing any new models. I would be very suprised if we even get any more firmware updates as it's been nearly a year since the last one.

I'd like to see some 80-85" 4k oleds. But my understanding is the current production stamps limit the cuts to 77" until 2021/2022. The cuts will then change from 77 to 75" and then 80/82/85" cuts can be made. (which is how cuts work for lcd currently)..
