Hey Anime fans... anyone know much about this series? Any good? Its old skool SD on BD... I can live with quality maybe not being the best... if the series or storyline is compelling. Any feedback is appreciated. Cheers in advance.

It's worth watching but only as the worst anime associated with Bubblegum Crisis.

Your time and attention would be better spent on:
Bubblegum Crisis OVAs (On US BD)
AD Police Files OVAs (On US DVD)
Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 (On US DVD)
Parasite Dolls (On US DVD)
Bubblegum Crash (On US DVD)

I'd recommend any of those before I'd recommend ADP Protect and Serve.

I enjoyed it. The opening and ending themes are pretty good. Also a bit dramatic and a certain person has a tragic outcome. It does show some age. I had a run in with Bubblegum Crisis that went a little backward. I Started by catching Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 on SciFi channel back in the day then bought it...then bought what you mention in the post and enjoyed it. My friend had a copy of the Bubblegum Crisis OVAs...I still have yet to watch them after buying the original pink glittery looking box from him. As for the others above I have always been curious about the AD Police Files OVAs an the Bubblegum Crash but never got around to watching them.

I forgot about Parasite Dolls. Brand New copy of that is around $50 on eBay now. Just that and Tokyo 2040 is missing from my completion.

Definitely not nearly as good as the original AD Police Files. It’s good that it’s back in print, but I’d only recommend it to Bubblegum Crisis completists.
