Trying to Upgrade my old PC to Windows 10...Display Driver Problem

So after hearing Win7 will no longer be supported, I decided to try to upgrade my Sony Vaio all-in-one (about 8 years old but still runs great knock on wood) to Windows 10 with the help of this site:

I'm a dummy when it comes to PCs to be honest. Well, things were moving just fine until I got an error message saying something along the lines of "display driver incompatibility." I just stopped everything right there.

Is there a workaround, or am I better off just buying a new desktop? I was considering a new machine anyways due to the fact that it is noisy. I wouldn't mind something more powerful and quiet.
