One year ago, this battle looked completely different and we would be surprised if the HD DVD camp would give up that easily.
One year ago BD had been on the market for about 6 months and HD DVD had a three month headstart.

But whatever.

I just read this thing and I couldn't believe what I was reading. This guy is in the the most severe denial I've ever seen.

I'm glad someone else posted it as I was about to, but didn't want to be the one to point it out. lol

The format war, imo, isn't completely over until all studios releasing on HD DVD start releasing on Blu-Ray, irrespective if they continue to release on HD DVD or not.

It just seems like everone wants to get their two cents in about this whole format war and some don't seem to want it to go away.

tom has been one of the most biased sites ever. i don't think they've ever said a good thing about amd, even when they were killing intel.

Lots of articles on the Tom's Hardware website, particularly those featuring opinion, lead into discussion threads in the forums at Tom's Hardware. Mark Raby's article doesn't have anything like that. Strange.

"The players are less bulky and less expensive."

LMAO! I have a DMP-BD30 side-by-side with an HD-A30. Guess which is slimmer. Yeah, that would be the laptop drive Panasonic put it its player.
