Default Blu-ray compared to Standard DVD

My daughter is doing a sciencefair project on Blu-ray technology vs SD DVD, and I remember someone posting several side by side picture comparisons between the two using scenes out of Spiderman-3. I searched every which way I could throughout these forums and the web for over an hour, and can not find those pics anywhere.

Does anyone remember seeing them or posting them on this site within the last several months? If so could you provide a link, and add any new picture comparisons you have as this is one of the most important distinctions that we need to make in educating the masses on high-def. I think the BDA should post these side by side's all over the place on huge billboards/etc., so people can visually see the huge difference...

Post #15 has a link. I would copy the direct link, but I am at work and it's blocked.

Thanks, that's the one. I tried every word/phrase I could think of to find it and couldn't.

Anyone have other side by side images, or info to compare the two? Laser technology diagrams/etc.?

Her presentation should just say:

There is no comparison. Blu Ray kills DVD!

I'll make sure she adds that...

I know this thread has been done before, but I don't think it hurts to revisit it for things like school projects, and just for discussing how to get awareness out to the masses. Those pictures side by side, and other visual graphics that clearly show the differences, are of great importance for people to see, because they get a visual description that shows the difference without even having to watch a high-def movie.

The BDA should paste those images up on huge Billboards, and put them in some big magazines, etc...

Anyone else have other similar ones like POTC or 300, etc.? Or even a diagram showing the difference in Blue and Red laser technology, and how it saves to disc?

P.S. I assume the Fifth Element examples would have been done with the original transfer - not the recently re-issued transfer..but not sure of how the dates work out.

None of the Casion Royales completely load for me.
