I am a huge fan of this film. But alas, I don't see how the slight image improvement will add to this movie and justification to buy on blu-ray.
It needs some extras for sure (but I don't think that any exist).

I would get the Ferris Bueller Blu-ray it if it had all the extras from the last DVD version (Bueller... Bueller... Bueller... Edition) AND included the Hughes commentary on the original DVD that was left off the last DVD version (!).

And while they are at it, re-include the astronaut quip that was deleted after the shuttle disaster (only seen at the cinema, not on DVD)

Hmmmmm. Now, I have this on VHS, and on DVD ... but not the special edition DVD, didn't fancy the double dip.

Will have to see what extras they stick on this to make it worth getting as the high-res alone probably won't sell it for me.

Although this is my Favourite movie of all time! I know it word for word
