Has anyone tried this? Last weekend I found my ColecoVision in a shoebox (Reebok pumps ) and like a true dumbass, I find myself debating whether I should buy this or spend like $5 on an f-type converter.

i have both an original colecovision and a Phoenix and if i would start from scratch i would go straight to the phoenix because the colecovision hardware is 40 years old (and counting) and console components are known to be problematic (the ...HUGE...power supply not working, console ram turning bad aswell as controllers ic's) so with the Phoenix you have a console which is hdmi ready which also have a sd card slot (for coleco rom playing) etc
if you want to pre order one do it quickly because the next batch they are doing will be the last one
