Tough call between TND and FYEO, but I went with FYEO. Moore's strongest performance and I love the finale.

I will always vote for the better action movie and TND wins easily.

It pains me to not vote for a Connery film, but in this match I have to pick FYEO. I have a strong emotional attachment, it came out during one of my more difficult teen summers, and seeing it a couple of times really helped me through that period. (Which, looking back, wasn't really that bad.)
Also, it's a damned good movie! |

Put Dalton in FYEO, as was supposedly a possibility, and I would probably vote for it in this poll. It feels both structurally and tonally similar to Dalton's TLD and the grittier feel doesn't suit Moore IMO. The most memorable part of the film for me is Bond's wildly inappropriate relationship with Bibi Dahl; I've always thought Moore's Bond has a sexual predator vibe and he was showing his age at this point so an unrequited teenage crush felt more natural than many of his 'conquests' in other entries.
![]() I do think FYEO has the best slow/pretty theme song in the series and I love how the melody is incorporated into the film itself. YOLT takes the vote by default as I found TND to be a very disappointing followup to Goldeneye. |

Connery's Bond is a chauvinist and clearly has no qualms about hurting women. It's not an admirable portrayal but it's definitely a retrograde form of male sex appeal. Moore's Bond OTOH is sex crazed but rarely forms healthy relationships with women; he relies mainly on psychological coercion. I find most of his romantic banter uncomfortable and my GF finds him utterly repellant.
